A Wonderful Look
The day after the main event (Fiesta Bowl), Laurie, Jack and I drove about 90 minutes North of Phoenix to Prescott (pres'kət) Valley to visit Dad and Jackie. The highlights of the trip was taking an auto tour of the area guided by dad, visiting Heritage Park Wildlife Zoo (Jack really had a great time!), and of course enjoying the occasion of being with family. Hope to be back soon!!

Here's the story of a classic Internet love connection. JR was surfing Yahoo! members and ran across LA's profile. There wasn't much in her profile, and normally he would have passed right on by, but instead he initiated a chat. They talked... mostly about why she wasn't keen on her education path, and what she might do with her degree later in life. A month or so later, JR saw LA was online and gave her a shout. They didn't chat much; JR didn't want to come across as a chatroom stalker <grin>. This had gone on a few more times over the next several months. In January of 2002 during a chat session, LA suggested that JR call her (typing was slow and tedious). JR also called LA the next day, as well, and this time LA suggested that JR meet her that evening. So he did, and they've been together ever since and are living happily everafter. :-) LA has taken quite fondly of JR's two sons, Nick and Greg, from his previous marriage. And now they also have a new son together, Jack. Jack gets lots of attention from his big brothers.
