Round and round...

We were killin' time at the doc's office waiting for the specialist to come back in with Jack's "noggin armor." Click on the pic to enjoy a Quicktime movie clip.

Noggin' Armor

When I was born the back side of my head was a little flat, and since I've been growing the shape of my head hasn't rounded out well. So, mommy and daddy took me to a doctor. I got my head scanned, and the doctors made a special helmet for me to wear for a little while that will make my head grow into a nice shape.

It felt a little funny going on my head the first time, and it looked a little funny, too. But the specialist trimmed it up and made it fit pretty good. It's kinda tricky to put on, but I don't ever cry. I wear it all the time now, even when I sleep, but not when I take a bath.

Do I look like a kayaker? A skydiver? A football player? A race car driver? A helicopter pilot? Daddy calls it my "noggin' armor." ;-)

My little friend Peyton came to visit me and gave my this cool hat and some clothes.


We played for a awhile, then after Peyton went home daddy traded me hats!

Lullaby

There was this song that my mother sung to me when I was a baby. Actually, the old man that lived next door taught it to us. Me and my three younger brothers all learned this song. Now I sing it to Jack at night, and even in the morning while feeding him his bottle. Tonight, I taught myself how to play it on the guitar. I performed a Google search to see if it was posted anywhere. Nothing. Then I did other search engine searches. Nothing. This song apparrently doesn't exist on the Internet! So, Here's the lyrics (perhaps I'll post an audio clip someday so you can hear it) ...
