Practice, practice, practice...

My daddy and my big brother Nick are helping me learn how to walk.
In this picture, either Nick was very surprised as I got a few really good steps in, or it was a very close call as I fell into his lap. ;-)

Training Wheels

Gr'ma and Papa Johnson got this walker for me at Christmas time last year. Here it is six months later and I really starting to get some use out of it. What else is a kid gonna do? Well, the idea is to prop myself up behind this thing and hang on for dear life as I try to keep up from behind with my stubby little legs and hope not to fall on my face.

Later on daddy can change this from a walker into a car I can sit on and ride!

There's another noisy-blinky gadget that hooks on to this thing that has buttons and lights and nursery songs that sing to me. I like playing with it alot, but it's easier if it's in my lap.

Jack is getting more agressive crawling around, so a gate goes up to barracade the stairway.

Good idea.

Think that would stop him? Nooooo... he hooks his li'l toes into the mesh and scales right up. He hasn't actually climbed all the way over, but here's mommy helping him finish the job.
