Raptyr: Redux

Greg had some homework to do for his desktop publishing class that I gave him a little help with. His assignment was to make a magazine front and back covers, and then add content regarding the highlighted cover topics.

He didn't quite make the cover of the Rolling Stones, but he made the cover of his own magazine. :-)

I setup my backdrops and studio lights (softbox and a strobe) in the living room, snapped some pictures of Greg "hammering on his axe," did some post editing in PS CS2, and produced these images.

He looks like a rock star!

Laurie, Jack and I spent Thanksgiving Day at with our very good friend Kris Sasser at her home, along with Payton and Andy, Sandy, Tracey, Justin and Lexi, Marie and Paula. We were thinking about our own familiis and the many things we are thankful for.

The weather is getting cooler, days are getting shorter, leaves are turning colors... Summer is gone. A new season is upon us. I sit and look out the window and reflect in color.
